CHRIS WYRSCH’s interest in Health & Wellness Coaching developed from a career as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room and in Critical Care. Early in her career, she began considering the connection between lifestyle choices and disease, injury, and overall wellness, even amongst her colleagues.
Clinical staff provide service and compassion to others, but often at a cost to their own health and wellness. Hearing the call, she became a nationally Board-Certified Health and Wellness coach, and brings over a decade of experience both personally and professionally to her practice. While her career as a nurse was fulfilling, she found her passion as a Health & Wellness Coach. She finds the work of connected conversations that fuel motivation to change deeply meaningful. As a win win, these changes also help to prevent illness, relieve angst, and permanently “shed the shouldness” taking up residence in our minds for lifestyles we know do not serve our long-term interests. While Jenny works with clients on a large range of goals, she has a particular passion to to help people engage in the early stages of lifestyle changes, including those seeking to embed a sustainable exercise regimen into their lifestyle, or to significantly re-configure their orientation around diet and nutrition. But: this work is not a BMI chasing mission.
